Intercultural Competence and Global Collaboration with a Focus on Japan and EU

Dr. Silvia Dehne is a certified intercultural trainer with more than 20 years of experience in international collaboration.
Following her academic career she worked in the pharmaceutical industry, where she held positions in international product management and marketing. Collaborating with teams and partners across different countries and cultures, she gained extensive experience in global business environments.
A key focus of her professional journey has been Japan. She lived and worked there for twelve years, serving in global pharmaceutical companies at the interface between Japan, Europe, and the United States. In these roles, she coordinated the implementation of international marketing and training strategies and developed deep insights into the opportunities and challenges of intercultural collaboration, virtual teams, and global organizations.
